Ulrika Shragge
Hi!
My name is Ulrika Shragge and I am super excited to be a part of the CALM group for another year! I am a senior studying Philosophy and History at TCU.
My experience with mindfulness began around fourth grade. My school’s acting teacher, in an attempt to simmer down a group of rambunctious girls, led us in a body scan meditation. I still remember how it felt – I was instantly more at peace and shockingly calm. I have found meditation to be a game-changer in improving my concentration, composure, sleep quality, and much more.
More recently, I have been experimenting with the Wim Hof method by taking cold showers and practicing a new breathing technique. I have been loving my mindfulness journey and can’t wait to hear about yours!
Warm wishes,
Ulrika
